Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
Foundation year is extremely demanding, most freshmen take 17 credits and have about 30 hours of class a week and have about another 20 -30 hours of homework. So if you plan on attending be ready to work. The offices (bursar, registrar, addmissions ect) are staffed by jaded, rude and unorganized individuals so having to dropp/add classes, change grades or anything dealing with the offices is a real pain. The campus is beautiful, however it is poorly maintained and has had scaffolding covering 50% of the buildings since I first visited pratt as a senior in HS. Although the teachers are very experienced, helpfull and accomplished artists on their own terms. Being 15 minutes from the heart of Manhatten is amazing, and the student body is overall very friendly. You will get a great education at Pratt, both in art and urban life. It's worth the price....which isn't as much as you think considering 80% of the student body recieves a scholarship between 5,000 and 12,000 per year.
