At Davis there is a clear devide. Students that attend Davis as Freshman, seem to absolutly love it; however, for transfers from other univerities, or JCs attending school here is a much less enjoyable experince. Almost every transfer student that I've talked to complains about how hard it is to become connected here, and this has also been my experince. The UCD students are friendly, but also very clicky, and difficlut to form friendships with. If I knew then, what I know now, I would never have transfered here. I know another transfer student that jsut droped out and went home becuase of the loneliness, and I think his example shows the severity of this problem. So for incomming Freshman DAVIS ROCKS you will meet alot of friends in the dorms and classes and most seem to have a very postive college experince..... But for new Transfers Davis can be a very aleinating, misirible, lonely place......
