Whenever it comes up, whether at work or socially and I say to that I went to Cornell, people's eyes light up. They know that you have the skills just from graduating from engineering at Cornell; it doesn't even need to be said. Cornell was a tough, tough school. My high school did nothing to prepare me for the workload, and it took a few months to get adjusted. Looking back, there isn't any other school that I would have rather gone to. I got better offers financially from other engineering schools, but I chose to pay more and go to Cornell because I knew it was the best, and I would only go to college once. I feel like I have a leg up on everyone else my age at my job because of what I learned at Cornell, which is priceless.
