when it come to the academic part of Cheyney its a wonderful school with caring teachers and faculty. The only problem though is the campus life. There are some people that try to get things done at Cheyney but it doesnt seem like anything will change. For instance every friday there is a great exodus and a good 75% of the campus goes home leaving the other 25% of students on campus to walk around bored doing absolutely nothing. There is a lack of interest for any extracurricular activities among most students unless its sports or greeks. As for the residential halls; when something breaks in Cheyneys residential halls it takes a very long time to get fixed (Its been 3 months and I still dont have clear reception on my t.v.) The R.A.'s try there best but its the people above them that drag there feet. If your an out of state student (like I am) I wouldnt recommend Cheyney University because it is not worth the extra money but for Pennsylvania residents that struggled through high school and barely made it out, Cheyney would be a good choice for you to better yourself
