Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
Being on campus for a few months, I've come to realize that Georgetown was a pretty good decision for me. The academic environment is spectacular, the majority of my classes are extremely engagin, especially excelling in the subjects you'd expect for a DC University (US politics, Language). The dorms are refreshingly nice, especially the recently renovated New South. The campus is gorgeous and safe, but be warned once you step outside of those pearly front gates. DC can be dangerous if you aren't smart about your "city habits". Regarding the social scene, at this point I still have yet to meet a "group of friends" that I feel comfortable with. Hopefully, this will come with time, and I am not ready not give up quite so soon. Yes, there is a large prep gathering at GU, but it is not overpowering as some might suggest. I would suggest looking into it.
