I never expected to be so happy at college. The vast majority of my classmates are incredibly friendly, intelligent, and all-around awesome people, and I feel the same way about my professors and advisers. Before coming here I was worried that GU students would be both preppy and snooty, but this concern was unfounded. There are some very wealthy people here (as there are at all parallel institutions), but I have friends from all social classes. And come on, you can't prejudge someone's behavior by the way he or she dresses! There are also all sorts of opportunities at Georgetown and here in D.C., but it's up to you to go after them. Awesome classes, awesome people--I encourage you to take a close look at Georgetown. I honestly couldn't be more pleased with my experience thus far. :)
