Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
Like the previous poster, also a CS major, but it sounds like we go to completely different schools. The computer science program here is ridiculously challenging, but that's why I chose this school. The finals are tough, and I pine for the As I got in high school, but I wouldn't trade this school for anything else. If you're interested in coming to Maryland, definetly be on the look-out for which program you'd like to go into. No major is an easy major here (and the one I thought was easy because all the football players were enrolled in it (Criminology) turns out to be the best in the country?!) but they're not all as good as the computer science department. I'd say the weakest parts of this university are the availability of money, and the errant sports glitch (read: basketball), other than that I hope to see you here.
