Wash U really is like an Ivy League of the Midwest... that most people overlook. The Biomedical engineering department is INCREDIBLE, but be warned that, because of the medschool, so many people come in wanting to be "pre-med" via BME that they have to figure out who REALLY wants to be an engineer and who doesn't... Thus the curriculum is VERY demanding, but if you can keep up with it it's an unbelievably good education. The students here are spoiled, as the school provides the best of everything, from food to computers and amenities. Would highly recommend this school, and though it's a lot of work, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
