As a SAS student, I personally hate Wharton, but I consider the opportunity to take its business classes an invaluable opportunity hard to find elsewhere. The Wharton influence keeps the socialists and far left as a whole in check, which I think is wonderful. Penn's atmosphere feels much more free than the stifling Politically-Correct atmosphere of other institutions. There are a lot of people whom I don't think are particularly interesting (these tend to be the wharton students trying to get to i-banking as fast as they can), but everyone remains openminded and with a large undergraduate class, you are bound to find your own social niche
