Positives: 1.) PCC places a strong emphasis on external show and polish. While arguable how well this coincides with a Christian worldview, it does server one well in the business world. 2.) PCC maintains excellent academic standards. 3.) PCC’s facility cares about their students. I still think of many of them in very high regard. I encourage to take classes from any of the following: a. Mickey Stemen (Computer Science) b. Dr. Bill Bowen (US Gov) c. Dr. Guesendorf (Economics) d. Dr. Young (English) 4.) Value! PCC provides a very cost effective education. 5.) PCC provides a very safe environment. Negatives: 1.) PCC uses a sense of guilt as a major motivating factor. 2.) PCC does not tolerate dissent in any form. Although this happened after my time as a student, Google “the Student Voice” and you will see what I mean. 3.) PCC forces participation in there collegians. (This most likely is not a negative for most but I found I was forced into association with college-sanctioned reprobates with whom I had nothing in common.) 4.) Forced participation in prayer group. (What happens when you throw good apples into the same bag with bad ones? The college has never figured this out. I found pray group to be ritualistic as best and encouraging hypocrisy at worst.)
