Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
Brown University is like Disneyland for smart, motivated, 18-22 year olds: All your dreams can come true. I'm not kidding. You can take any class, you can speak with any professor, you can pursue any dream you have and find Brown University resources with which to pursue it. You are surrounded by brilliant, creative, genuine classmates who are passionate about everything from non-profits, to poetry, to genomic research, to raising venture capital. And the alumni network is brimming with opportunity with alumni that want to see you succeed. What I haven't figured out is that if Brown makes you a success, or if they only accept successful people. On the essay topic of ruling the world, Harvard kids write "Why I WILL rule the world", Yale kids write "Why I SHOULD rule the world", Princeton kids write, "Why DADDY rules the world", and Brown kids write, "Why I DO rule the world". I borrowed that form a Vanity fair article that talked about how awesome Brown is, and I have to say, they are right on target.
