I recevied a good education from PCC as well as the Masters Program. PCC is not for everyone, there is a fine line between rules and legalism, and from my experience PCC likes to ride the fence; with politics making the decision of which way they would lean on a certain issue. Balance and grace were not part of their equation, and politics seems to play an indirect role. Like I said before, I received a good education. I gleaned what I could, and threw away what I did not want to keep. I loved Pastor Schettler, and looking at PCC now, understand why he left to go to another ministry. I wished I could have served in a local church during my undergrad years. The Campus Church says that they are a church, but when measured up with the Scriptures they are not. Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed Pastor Schettler's minstry. My advice to those looking at PCC, talk to someone who has graduated from their and been out in the world for at least 3 years or more - their advice is invaluable. If you looking for a college that is on the cutting edge, balanced in ministry, and understands the needs of their students - look elsewhere.
