Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
This school is what you make of it. I know that sounds cliché, but it is entirely true. There are some facts that hold true for many students: -Savannah is hot, dirty, and crime-ridden. -Depending on your department, there are many professors that are unqualified. -The school IS set up to take all of your money and give nothing back. -Most of the staff is unhappy with the administration most of the time. With that being said, there is an atmosphere here that promotes people with internal motivation to succeed in the respective fields. There are also a lot of parties and social things for kids who know who to go outside once in awhile. Also, each major is different. Some majors I feel receive very little support from the college, but for my particular field it has been wonderful. If it is convenient for you to go to SCAD for whatever reason, do it; be prepared to work for yourself and maybe a few key faculty members. If you have choices with some other, more well-known schools, talk to those students and see if that is a better place.
