I was an out of State Student and I was overwhelmed how friendly everyone was. I took my daughter out in Feb2007 and it is still the same. I was glad I took advantage of everything UNL had to offer. I don't believe some kids knew how up to date and forward thinkging UNL was when I went there. I felt I produced a lot of creative work with people with friendly competition, instead of the high pressured cut throat I felt in High School. I really bloomed in Lincoln. The only thing that bothered me was the drinking could get so out of hand, and the younger student could be really immature while drinking. There is plenty to do at UNL but you do have to give it a try!
