Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
Penn State is a wonderful place to go. There are many activities, tons of things to do, places to meet people... It's a very free environment. The key is that YOU must assert yourself. Because Penn State is so big, fun won't find you: you have to look for it. And it's not hard--there are so many clubs, organizations, teams, activities, etc. to get involved with that if you don't take advantage of at least one, you're wasting a fabulous opportunity. The level of school pride is very great. PSU students may complain about different aspects of the school, but generally, if someone from a different school starts to complain about PSU, they'd better back off: we don't take kindly to strangers talking about about our home. And that's what it becomes... your home. Yes, there are some problems. Some people take the "#2 Party School" title too seriously sometimes, there are a lot of sorority girls (so if you don't like Uggs, that could be a problem), and it gets really cold in the winter. But people who complain about these need to loosen up. It's college: open your mind.
