keep in mind this is a commuter school and you will have to deal with that if you live on campus. It was hard to make friends cause one, its a commuter school, and in the first years you go to big big classes where you might or might not see people again. The dorms might be improved but my memory of it is that people complained of construction noise. houston is full of sprawl. Given that, the teachers did do a good job. An individual could get a good education at UH and have a good social life if they know what they are in for. 1. its a commuter school. 2. its houston.
