Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
I'm about to graduate from the Journalism program at the University of Cincinnati. I chose the wrong major... the department is unorganized and unhelpful. They won't teach you anything you won't learn simply by writing for the school newspaper (The News Record). The faculty is friendly enough, but the department heads are mean, unhelpful and adhere to serious favoritism. However, as a history minor, I couldn't be more pleased. Awesome faculty and staff. Great, thought-provoking classes. The UC experience is different than anywhere else. The student body is HUGE but the campus isn't overwhelmingly big. The architecture is interesting and there are people from all walks of life. It's in a great neighborhood too. Very urban, lots of good restaurants and shops. I can say I had a great experience at UC (minus my issues with my major)
