I chose UVM initially mainly because it was the best value in terms of rep & educational quality for the money I would pay. Since I've been here, I absolutely love it. The professors are world experts in their fields, the classs are small (my largest is 32 students), and are very friendly and willing to discuss topics. The campus is wonderful, the students are amazingly friendly, the food's great, the library's awesome. Basically UVM rocks. Don't just set your sights on the ivies or top 30 schools -- I turned down several top 30 schools for UVM and I do not regret the decision one bit :)
