Despite its popularity due to its nice campus setting n a Boston suburb, BC has a reputation for not having nearly as strong an academic reputation as I had hoped. Many students here are more focused on social activities and parties and football and not as focuseed on academics. The Princeton Review (objective and respected third party source) accurately reflects this in their academic ratings of Boston area colleges: Some top schools in Boston area include: School Princeton Review Academic Rating Harvard 99 College of the Holy Cross 98 Boston College 87 Tufts 89 Brandeis 88 MIT 97 Boston Univ 84 Source(s): http://www.princetonreview.com/
