Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
To be honest, I do not understand where all of these negative comments are coming from. Everyone I know absolutely loves JMU. The campus is beautiful and the students are friendly; you do not even have to pay for beer when you go to parties. Every weekend students have their friends from other schools come, and all visitors seem to love JMU as well. Harrisonburg kind of sucks but there is not much need to leave campus as a freshmen. Academic wise I feel like I am being challenged along with my classmates who have different majors. Everyone seems to party hard on the weekends and hit the books during the week. I have personally only met a few people who have transfered out of JMU. As for transferring in, its pretty difficult. Its easier to transfer into tech then into JMU. My friends from tech love JMU, and they have suggested JMU over tech to their siblings. All in all, the people who do not like JMU are the closet weirdos who do not like to go out and have a good time. You only go to college once, live a little, I would not go anywhere else. Go Dukes
