The school area is extremely unsafe and filled with crime. The social life sucks because everybody goes home on the weekends. Everybody is from maryland so they commute and it sucks being from out of state because u cant go home all the time like everybody else does. http://www.american-school-search.com/safety/towson-university This link should help clear up any speculation about the school's safety. It is ranked a C- for safety and is recognized under the "unsafe" level of security. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else where your degree will actually be respected.
