I am unfortunately in the class of 2014 that is paying 15% more for tuition than previous classes. My tuition and room and board next year will be over $56,000. I can tell you right now that this school is not worth that exorbitant price. The quality of the education here is average at best. I've had some really mediocre professors this past year and this school has so many requirements that it is difficult to pursue classes that you are interested in. I was hoping to minor in art, but DWC makes it impossible to pick up 3 hour art classes since I have that class every day in the middle of the day (was not able to pick time, it is assigned to all freshmen). Also, there is an abundance of theology and Catholicism at this school. Every paper I've had to write this year revolves around the Catholic Church. I feel like that's all I'm studying. Another disturbing thing about this school is that it is not in a safe area. Every week we get an email about another student that has been stabbed or robbed, because students are forced to party off campus. This is an intensely strict school and probably 50% of students are on probation. Trust me when I tell you that you should think long and hard about whether you really want to attend this school.
