I don't want to post a negative or positive comment about my school, but I would rather just give you the facts from my perspective as a student. - Classes are too large. They say the faculty to student ratio is something like 19:1. How is this even possible when most of my classes have 200+ students in it? - Tuition keeps increasing each year and fees keep getting added on. The number of classes keeps getting cut so it's harder to find classes that I can take to graduate on time. - The weather is nice in San Diego, but there is hardly anything to do in the surrounding city of La Jolla. It's like a retirement community for really wealthy people. - If you don't have a car on campus, you need one. The public transportation in San Diego outside of the immediate downtown San Diego/Gaslamp District is poor. Also, you will need a car to go home each weekend like everyone else since this is a COMMUTER school. It empties each weekend. - It just didn't feel like a college to me. Just a factory churning out students without really learning. It's more memorizing for midterms and finals and forgetting about it and off with new stuff in ten weeks.
