The experience you have definitely depends on how much you put into it, but to a certain point. The history department either has amazing professors, or professors that are the worst of the worst. Good thing is it's pretty easy to avoid the bad ones. Transferring was a nightmare and half of my credits didn't transfer, but I've had some of the best history classes here. The social life is almost completely run by greek life and if you're not a part of it...you feel it. But that being said it's just as easy to find where you fit. You get out what you put in to the experience but overall Towson isn't too bad
