School is great. I transferred in my Sophomore year and have been very pleased with the quality of professors and the level of education. Raleigh is a great place to go to school. Raleigh offers a good balance of an urban environment and the beauty of nature a little bit beyond. Words of advice: Get in close with at least a few people at the school. The size of the student body is overwhelming and the school tends to push you through as a number but in the end, your education is what you make of it. Secondly, look out for the HOUSING DEPARTMENT. Everyone there is nice but they will try to throw random fees at you. Be careful and back up anything they say on the phone with the website because there is a good chance that they will conflict.
