HPU is not worth the time or the money. The education level is extremely low. Due to the low level of education you might as well stay at home and not attend the university and you will be just as educated. The main campus is in downtown surrounded by homeless people, mentally ill people, and meth addicts. And no these are not students but they are in the area. Academic advisers work more towards keeping you in school longer, to get more money, than assisting you with graduating in time. They are also not helpful and it is very hard to get a hold of the advisers. If you are considering attending HPU, think again and apply somewhere else. Choosing another school will benefit you in all ways, including financially and academically.
