NOTE: ONLY A FACTOR IF YOU CARE ABOUT PERFORMING ARTS! I came from a performing arts high school (dance major) and was looking for a school where I could learn academically as well as continue to hone my dance skills. Pomona college is wonderful for academic advancement and prepares you very well for the world in that respect but the same can not be said for it's arts programs, especially its performing arts. If you are just starting out on your artistic journey the classes are very helpful but if you have training under your belt you have very little to gain from the artistic education and your money and time are better spent elsewhere.
