This is school has disappointed me again and again. I came here thinking everyone was quirky and cool and the academics are serious. Everyone here (mostly everyone) is rude, private and it was very hard for me to settle in here (still haven't). I grew up in a smaller town in Connecticut, and loved the idea of city life. However once i got here, the orientation was shit and didn't help me make any friends at all. BU likes to say that there are so many clubs etc. etc. but really nobody even goes to any of the clubs, they are poorly organized and rarely ever meet (i met with my pre-vet club 2 times a semester WTF?!). The whole biology and chemistry (pre-med) department is awful. They basically set you up for failure and make it "seem" like their classes are so rigorous or whatever. Faculty is unhelpful and frankly unapproachable, they say that you can meet one on one with professors, and that is the biggest lie I've ever heard, 2 of my 3 chem classes were taught by a TA. Also, all the doors are awful, except bay state.
