Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
Most students that I've met never actually directly applied to UCR but were referred by the other major UC's who didn't accept them. Most students commute to campus and there's a definite lack of school pride and unity. The campus, in it's current state, is a work in progress with neverending construction all over the place. The current administration is trying to make this a destination school 5-10 years from now at the cost of current students.Theft and car break-ins have become a problem in the last 6 months or so. Parking is ridiculous, most undergrad commuters can count on walking around a quarter mile before actually walking past a school building on their way to class This city of Riverside is entirely unappealing with very little to do and is consistently ranked with the worst air quality and pollution in the country.
