UH gets a bad rap from the other Texas schools, but I've found it to be a quality education and I've had a great time here. Although I had full rides to several schools(including Rice) I decided this place best fit my major interests. Not a great place to come if all you care about is education, the environment is pretty casual and extremely diverse. There is more to do here than anyone could possibly imagine, you just have to look around.
