I came to PCC as an international student in the springSuper BrilliantFinance
I came to PCC as an international student in the spring of 2005. I was appalled at the level of closemindedness and hypocrisy that I encountered. The school is horrible. Academically it is over mediorce. Competition rarely exists, and most of the students in your classes deserve to be in middleschool and not college. Many of the Bible students seem to be weak in core courses and only make it more evident that they probably were called to study bible by F's.

Socially the school is a joke. Students are treated like robots, controlled like property, and brainwashed to a level of no return. I strongly beleive that PCC is not a place for winners. Its not a place for independent thinkers who think big. The place is trapped in the plague of mediorcrity.

As an international student I'm lucky I'm not there any more. Its bad enough that I'm not from this country. But to go to an unaccredited unknown college, no way. That would have killed most of my chances for success in this country.

I left PCC after my first semester to go to a state college. Non of my credits transfered but at least the psychological relief I had from that environment was enough to overcome that loss. I spent three semesters and a summer in the state college before applying to Cornell University (Yes, Cornell the ivy league school in New York)and I was accepted.

I strongly believe that in life you get what you pay for. At PCC you get what it is worth and it is sad to realize that most PCC student do not strive high in life. When I was there, I could barely find anyone who spoke of big things. Everyone sounded too ungerdoggy and in plain words, like underachievers.

I do not think PCC will help a career oriented person who wants to be successful. It will get you stuck at being mediocre. If you want a good education look else were because at PCC you will only waste your time, money, and emotional stress you could have dedicated into getting a better education. DONT GO THERE !!!!!!!!!!!

Question
Pensacola Christian College is an epitome of mediocrity.Quite BrightFinance
Pensacola Christian College is an epitome of mediocrity. The school lacks what it takes to produce people who can strive for excellence, professionally. Before I procceed I would like to talk of the strength of the institution. Pensacola Christian College is a good place for independent fundamental baptists to study Bible related courses, Christian Education, and nursing. Other than that the place should not be called an institution.

PCC down talks other institutions, but they forget to look at themselves. When I look at PCC I look at it from a different perception. That is, a perception that differs from the perception held by most students.

First of all, PCC is not listed on any of the major college catalogues so the school is literarilly looking for students. Therefore making them to accept any tom dick and harry who calls him or herself a baptist. Half of PCC students lack the intellectual prowess to survive in regular competitive institutions, therefore making competition non existent.

As a Finance major, I found PCC overly mediorce. They do not try to build relationships with fortune 500 companies. While your mates at other institutions are serving as interns in big companies in New York, PCC will be persuading you to spend your summer working at ABeka books for $7.50. As an Engineering major, while your mates at places such as Georgia Tech are working as interns at Exon Mobile, and NASA, again PCC will not bring these companies to recruit you on campus, but will tell you to work again for 7.50.they are Mediorce. They do no research. They lack many professors with PhD and is an example of the fact that you get what you pay for.

Question
PCC is a place I will only adviceSuper BrilliantFinance
PCC is a place I will only advice my enemy to go to or an ex-convict or a wayward person who needs rehab. The place is filled with brain washed robots who cant think for themselves. They make student live in fear with obiedience as an escuse. My best advice for you is that if you have enough money to go elsewere, please go there or go to a state school and be a town student(non residence hall student). I assure you that that will be better for you.

I spent two semester in PCC and had a 4.0 but was kicked out for no sensible reason. can you imagine. I also need you to know that if you want a good college education, dont go to that place. The education there is so mediocre. I can say that it's like junior high. The work is so easy that getting an "A" in a class is a piece of cake. I hate PCC from the very bottom of my heart. They make you go through unneccessary stress when living on campus because you want an unacredited degree how prepostrous. The school does not even recruit smart people. the recruit just any block head who calls himself a fundamentalist.

Those people are evil. they think about only themselves. they try earnestly to brainwash student. they want you to believe in every thing they belive in. coupled with the fact that the faculty and students are a bunch of hypocrites and self righteous people. PCC sucks. The school does not have what it take to produce any Ronald Reagan or a Martin Luther King Jr(who they strongly dislike because of his color). They dont train people to use their initiatives, instead they train people to be robots. Also considering the fact that less that 45% of their faculty have doctorate degrees. If you want to study business or engineering dont go there. If you want to study criminal justice you can go there and let them tell you why to hate black people. those bloody racists who call themselves christians(indeed).

PCC christian life sucks. you need to see them sing in chapel. they sing like dead monks. their preachers sound a though they're reciting a rehearsed speed.

Dont go there, dont go there, dont go there. Your credits will never transfer to Harvard or Yale (may be unless you do prelaw or pre med and have a very very high LSAT or MCAT score, thats just a maybe). My candid advice. I thank God for taking me out of there, its the best thing that happened to me this year. If you want to go there. Please pray about it. Remeber that no fortune 500 Ceo went to an unaccredited college or PCC nor any Governor, Secretary or house hold name. Please be careful.
