Question
I am very discouraged to see many reviewsBright
I am very discouraged to see many reviews of PCC that discourage attendance because "PCC is a boot camp" and other nonsense. I will admit that PCC does have rules, and several of them at that; however, it is the student's responsibility to know what they are getting into before they apply. PCC is not for everyone, and those that go there for the wrong reasons will not be there for long. My experience at PCC has both negative and positive values, so please take my advice. I grew up in Pensacola, and I have seen the college change over the past couple years and over a decade are so. Gone are the days in which women were forced to wear "hose" 24/7, as well as many other rules. That being said, however, PCC still has rules that they enforce with vigor. Follow the rules and don't rebel, and you may find your years there quite bearable, even enjoyable at times. On the other hand, if you are part of the group that will insist on living the life at PCC, you will either have the worst time of it, or you will have no time of it, because they will kick you out. I've seen too many of my friends go down the same path, or start pushing as hard as they can against the boundaries, only to find that the boundary will break if you push too hard. Such people are the ones leaving comments with obscenities and nothing but spite for the college. Don't come to PCC because your parents or youth pastor wants you to come; come because you feel this is where God is leading you. Come with the willingness to learn and the ability to be taught, and God will use that willingness and ability to make you into what He wants you to be.

Question
With all of my contact with varying opinionsBright
With all of my contact with varying opinions about pcc, i have concluded one common denominator: ability and willingness to recognize authority and to follow instructions. a high school taecher taught me, if you woulde only follow directions, thing almost always turn out ok. so, if you're looking to attend pcc, really look inside and decide how it is you actually feel about authority and "rules. rules. rules." there are a lot of rules. many of them somewhat strict. but as long as you have a Christ-honoring view of authority, there should be no problem at all.
