I came to PCC as an international student in the springSuper BrilliantFinance
I came to PCC as an international student in the spring of 2005. I was appalled at the level of closemindedness and hypocrisy that I encountered. The school is horrible. Academically it is over mediorce. Competition rarely exists, and most of the students in your classes deserve to be in middleschool and not college. Many of the Bible students seem to be weak in core courses and only make it more evident that they probably were called to study bible by F's.

Socially the school is a joke. Students are treated like robots, controlled like property, and brainwashed to a level of no return. I strongly beleive that PCC is not a place for winners. Its not a place for independent thinkers who think big. The place is trapped in the plague of mediorcrity.

As an international student I'm lucky I'm not there any more. Its bad enough that I'm not from this country. But to go to an unaccredited unknown college, no way. That would have killed most of my chances for success in this country.

I left PCC after my first semester to go to a state college. Non of my credits transfered but at least the psychological relief I had from that environment was enough to overcome that loss. I spent three semesters and a summer in the state college before applying to Cornell University (Yes, Cornell the ivy league school in New York)and I was accepted.

I strongly believe that in life you get what you pay for. At PCC you get what it is worth and it is sad to realize that most PCC student do not strive high in life. When I was there, I could barely find anyone who spoke of big things. Everyone sounded too ungerdoggy and in plain words, like underachievers.

I do not think PCC will help a career oriented person who wants to be successful. It will get you stuck at being mediocre. If you want a good education look else were because at PCC you will only waste your time, money, and emotional stress you could have dedicated into getting a better education. DONT GO THERE !!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone wishes to go to PCC, pleaseQuite BrightCommunications
If anyone wishes to go to PCC, please be aware that this school is not for everyone, as advertised. Please go to http://go.to/pccstudentvoice and look at the message boards, particularly the new message board. Look for my posts in the PCC rules dept., under "So you wanna go to PCC 1,2,3,4")

My experience at PCC was horrendous, and many others experienced the same. However, this does not mean that PCC is not right for you, just be warned.

Question
I do not recommend PCC to anyone.Quite BrightEnglish
I do not recommend PCC to anyone. It is a pseudo-fascist society dominated by the Administration and their "pets" who report anything which is against the rules. Which is nearly everything you would usually do at college. You are denied email or any personal internet use beyond the sites that the Administration have approved. You are required to not listen to any music except PCC's radio station and strictly classical music (not even jazz is allowed). You are not allowed to skip classes or any of the 8 church/chapel services per week. You will live in fear that something you have done will get you expelled, or that someone will lie to the Administration about you and you will be expelled anyway.

The College is doctrinally accurate when it comes to the Bible, but they brook no disagreement with their theology, no religious freedom of any kind. All students, staff, and faculty are required to attend the Campus Church's 3 weekly services, except Bible majors, who are allowed to work Sunday nights at carefully selected local churches.I was not allowed to return to the college after being involved in a student website at http://go.to/PCCstudentvoice . I never released my name on the website, but after seven days of posting messages on the message board, the Administration had pinpointed my identity and they left a message with my parents that I would not be allowed to return. If you visit the Student Voice website, bear in mind that most of the information provided (except for some morons on the message board) is essentially correct.
