My college experience at PCC prepared me forEducation
My college experience at PCC prepared me for a job and ministry with an outstanding academic education coupled with spiritual and character-building challenges. I could not be more pleased with what I gained from my time at this institution. I must admit here, though, that much of what one gains from his college experience at any institution is determined greatly by what he is willing to put into it. PCC is a place for students who are willing to work hard and who are ready to face some challenges of personal discipline; but it is also a place to make great life-long friends and to have a good deal of fun! I hope at least some of my children will attend PCC!

I studied both undergrad and grad; I enjoyedQuite BrightNursing
I studied both undergrad and grad; I enjoyed my experience, and would recomend this college to anyone seeking a degree in nursing, or any other of the fields provided. Accademic excellence abounds in most majors. Though the school is strict, it's not something a person can't survive. In my career as a nurse, there are also many hospital regulations which must be followed. Being made to behave and look presentable never hurt anyone, and definately provided a peaceful environment for learning. For anyone serious about getting to know Jesus better, or who wants to serve God, I strongly recommend this school.

Question
I really enjoyed my time at PCC.History/Histories (art history/etc.)
I really enjoyed my time at PCC. PCC is not a school for everyone and they acknowledge that too. Basically, if you like to do your own thing and think college is for drinking parties, you may have problems here; but if you really want God to work in your life and grow spiritually - this is the place. Forget what others are saying negatively on this site- most did not finish and left bitter. Yes, there are rules, and no, no one agrees with every singe one, but that is life. There will always be rules and dress codes at work or other areas of life so they are just preparing you for life. By the time I graduated, I could tell pretty accurately by talking to freshmen whether or not they would last. It all depended on their reasoning for coming and how bad they wanted to stay. If you come because your parents make you, you problably won't last (however, I have seen a few like it after they got used to it). If you come because it is cheap - you may not last. If you come because your friend came - you may not last. However, if you come because God has called you - you will probably last, if you are are determined. Once you get there, the name of game the Devil plays is "what does it take to make you quit" and he will throw everything at you and exploit your weaknesses to make you quit and be bitter, so you must be ready. So if you want the proper foundation in your life - this is THE place.
