Put yourself out there to make friends -Super BrilliantNeuroscience/Cognitive Science
Put yourself out there to make friends - join clubs, everyone is just as scared as you are to meet people. Talk to your professors. DePaul is great because of its small class sizes and helpful professors - they want you to succeed so go to their office hours. There are internships and study abroad opportunities galore so apply for them!

Question
I'm currently a freshman at DePaul.BrightPsychology
I'm currently a freshman at DePaul. I grew up in the suburbs and have always loved the city, and that hasn't changed. I'm very disappointed in DePaul. Besides the professors I've had, the staff in every department from financial aid to the dining halls are incredibly rude. There's virtually nothing to do on campus. DePaul is NOT a party school. In fact, most people do more partying in high school than at DePaul. The teachers in the Psychology department are all awesome. I'll be transferring at semester and will really miss them.Overall, DePaul is a nice school. The faculty and campus are all great. The student life is less than satisfactory. People are usually snobby girls or frat boys who didn't get in to any state schools. For the money, you could get a much better college education and a better experience.
