I am so gladSuper BrilliantBiology
I am so glad I chose Holy Cross. I wanted to go to a school surrounded by people who were top of their classes in High School, very academic but also very friendly and always up for a good time. I love HC, and would not want to be anywhere else!

Question
I'll be honest: in applying to colleges, HCSuper BrilliantPsychology
I'll be honest: in applying to colleges, HC was not my immediate first choice. However, after doing tours and an overnight here, I fell in love with the place. The students are outgoing and friendly, and the population at Holy Cross as a whole is very welcoming. The campus is beautiful (twice been ranked as the #1 most beautiful and well landscaped & maintained campus in the country!) As a prospective, I went to some classes and found the lectures really engaging and the professors to be brilliant and helpful. School spirit here is amazing -- everyone loves this place. With a 97% rentention rate, it's pretty clear that students here are VERY happy.

The workload *is* pretty intense... but for as hard as we work, we play hard, too. Basketball and hockey games are a blast, parties are great (on or off campus)... and Worcester has done a LOT over the past few years to make the city better... Main Street is really nice now (the Raw Bar hosts a Holy Cross night on Thursdays) and Shrewsbury Street is closeby (Cafe Dolce has an addictive triple chocolate cake). There's really no place I'd rather be... I know HC is going to help get me into a great law school, and everyone I've met here is amazing and wonderful.

Question
I absolutely love HC!Quite BrightUndecided
I absolutely love HC! As an undeclared first-year student, I have liked being able to just take common requirements. Life in the dorms is great, everyone on my floor has become really great friends. It has been easy to get involved in activities and to try new ones. A word of advice: if being labled as a nerd bothers you, don't do FYP!
