The liberal arts background has been very beneficialMath
The liberal arts background has been very beneficial as I have moved into a management role where writing proposals, conducting interviews, making sales presentations all require a broad educational background and excellent writing and communications skills. It also prepared me well for coursework at a top ten MBA program where I was able to excel in the coursework because of the training I received while at Holy Cross. The coursework was no more challenging and in somce cases easier than what I did at HC.

Question
Holy Cross is a very small school andBrightMath
Holy Cross is a very small school and consequently each student gets a lot of attention. You are not treated as a number. Classes are small and some classes are only a few students. There are no TAs. You really get to know the professor and there is lots of opportunity for dialgue with professors. Because it is so small, you really get to know people well and form strong relationships. It is difficult to be lost in this tight knit community. There is a lot of career driven kids who are very focused on academics but also polite and respectful for the most part. The students have a lot of pride in the school and there is a lot of school spirit especially with respect to the men's basketball team. Some of my best memories are at exciting games at the Hart Center and NCAA appearances. I still attend many games as an alumnus and follow the teams like a maniac. Holy Cross is unusual in that there student athletes are academically representative of the school. The top football quarteback from the 90s is now a surgeon. A football halfback who was in my class is now an actuary. The top basketball player my year is now a VP of a major Boston realtor.

Question
I cannot adequately put into words how muchQuite BrightSociology
I cannot adequately put into words how much Holy Cross means to me. It was the absolute time of my life. During my tenure: I won a conference championship at the Division I level, and was still able to study abroad for a year. I thoroughly enjoyed just about every class I took - classes that challenged my mind, my beliefs, and my understanding of the world around me. I was involved in clubs which allowed me to reach out to my neighbors in Worcester. I made lasting connections with professors, coaches, alumni, and admininstrators who ultimately helped me find my fantastic job. I have countless memories of fun nights on and off campus, whether out at a bar or party or just hanging out in sweatpants and ordering pizza. I'm now part of a proud and strong alumni network. And most importantly, I made the most amazing friends anyone could ask for. Going to Holy Cross was by far the best decision I've made thus far in my life. With everything I know now - hearing friends talk about their schools and from visiting them myself - I would absolutely choose to go to Holy Cross again (..if only I could..)I can't wait for Homecoming!!
