I've enjoyed a very intense academic experience. It's been hard, but I can actually see how far I have come in my ability to think and learn. This place takes writing very very seriously. It's tough, but also very friendly and supportive with a tight knit community of students and alumni.

Question
Holy Cross has a great community feel toQuite BrightChemistry
Holy Cross has a great community feel to it. I love the size of the school, although some people may feel that it is too small. I like seeing people I know on the way to class. Although our college is in a city, it is a closed campus, so you're not walking on a city street to get to class. The campus is beautiful, it actually stands in very stark contrast to the surrounding city. Because of the size, it won't take you more than 10 minutes to walk from one side of campus to the other, which is really nice when you're late for class! Worcester is not the best city, although it has its nice parts that do have some things to offer. The part of the city where the campus is located is not a nice section, but there are shuttles and buses that can take you to area malls and restaurants. Most students find things to do on campus on the weekends.

Question
Last year when I was scrolling through collegeBrightEnglish
Last year when I was scrolling through college review websites I stumbled across College of the Holy Cross and after doing my research I discovered this was an awesome place to enjoy my undergraduate years. Everybody reading this who is thinking about applying to HC definitely should, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Academics:
Class work is probably the most challenging part of the HC environment because every student here is determined to succeed. The work can be demanding at times, but that does not make it undoable. It of course, also does not dominate you collegiate career as you will still have ample time to hang out with friends and join extra curricular activities. I am a recruited athlete and I mange to complete all my assignments on time.

What they say at HC is ?A 3.4 at Holy Cross is a 4.0 at Harvard.? This quote exemplifies the hard work nature of students here.

Social:
It?s common knowledge that HC students study hard and party and that's probably a fair enough statement. (Come on, most of us are Catholic)I?m the sort of kid who does go most weekends to party and I always enjoy me time. Of course there is always the people who don't drink, but that's not a problem they can always come out and have a good time anyways. People here appreciate a sober person to keep the peace. And if you just don't like going out period, then that's alright as well, nobody discriminates. There is always something going on throughout the campus like bands or stand up comedians.

Note: As a guy, most girls are hot at this school, seriously. And I?m an international student, so you can imagine the attention I get.

Location:
The campus is nice, it's 45min away from Boston, but Worchester is a hole, enough said.
Extra Curricular:
If you have a passion there is probably a group at HC where you can join. If it's music, art, leadership or whatever there is a group or club for everything and it's a great way to meet new people. I myself have not had the pleasure to join one of these groups because of my athletic commitments, but now the season is over I plan on joining the school choir.

I strongly recommend you consider HC, it's a great school and I promise you, you will enjoy it from the moment you step onto this campus
