Smith is a very overrated College, and many students attend for the name sake, and the academics aren't very challenging either, at least not as challenging as smith says it is. There is very little political diversity and socio economic diversity. Smith tends to shelter us, and to be honest its very obvious. I had more challenge now attending a state university for grad school... In short smith is overrated and not worth the money.

I think that Smith is an absolutely wonderful school. The people are great, from the students to the professors to even the housekeepers. Coursework is challenging but makes you feel like you can do anything once it's done. The environment is great, Northampton is small but incredibly diverse, and I can't imagine being happier anywhere else.
