I loved my SmithPsychology
I loved my Smith experience. I made friendships of a life time and learned how to think critically about my world. Smith helped foster the self confidence I needed to acheive my goals.

Question
If you are considering Smith, definitely visit toBiology
If you are considering Smith, definitely visit to get a better sense of the setting and the people. It is not for everyone and you may find yourself changing your decision, but it's better to do that earlier than being miserable while at school. The school is not incredibly diverse, and I strongly suggest for women of color to become actively involved on campus. The social life definitely does not come easy, campus events are pretty homogenous and you must make a real effort to meet people outside of the school. The town is not full of nightlife options, either. The workload is manageable, but definitely challenging. The student body is pretty studious, and therefore stressed. However, there are a lot of ways to get involved on campus, be it through sports, organizations, or through academic departments. Having said all of this, I found it a good match for me and I met some phenomenal people who I am still very close to.

Question
Smith is a beautiful school, and my dormBrightEconomics
Smith is a beautiful school, and my dorm is like a palace compared to my friends at other schools. All of the buildings are lovely. The best thing about the school for me is the relationship that you form with professors. The classes are small in size, and you get to know your profs, and they are always willing to help you. The major downside to the school for me is the lack of social life. You have to make your own fun, and it is really hard to meet guys, but not impossible. It’s just harder than if you could meet them in class. The 5 college consortium helps a lot.
