From the moment I've been at Towson myQuite BrightComputer Science
From the moment I've been at Towson my experience has been excellent. The atmosphere is amazing, the campus is wonderful, and it has everything one could possibly want in a University. Friends are extremely easy to find especially since everyone on campus is extremely friendly. If you need something to do there are also plenty of active clubs to join within Towson that are bound to keep you entertained. There hasn't been a moment where I haven't felt safe at the school but I do hear about incidents around campus usually through the school text alert system because Towson is really good about letting students know of any problems occurring in or around the Towson area. The area of Towson is also beautiful, I love how Towson is 10 minutes from the city while also been 10 minutes away from some really cool parks. The town of Towson also has an abundance of things to do to keep you entertained and if you can't find something to do in Towson you can always find something to do in Baltimore. TU definitely is the place to go if you want a medium sized school that offers a great education and more importantly a great experience.

Question
I am a transfer student from a communityBrightEducation
I am a transfer student from a community college in Maryland and I would say towson has been a relatively good experience. The school offers competitive programs in education and nursing especially, most people are offered jobs before graduation. The campus is currently in a transfer phase from a commuter college to a full on state school. Most of the buildings are new or being renovated and a new 40 million dollar is being planned alond with even more student housing. The actual campus is extremely safe, I fact it is probably the safest in Maryland. The constant crime alerts are from areas around towson. Towson itself is a pretty upscale suburb with a fair amount to do. Also with the construction of a 60 million basketball arena and the recent success of our football team, the sports at towson are becoming top notch. People tend to give towson a bad rap for its past, but to be honest towson is quickly on the rise and soon to compete the academics of Maryland. Also, Greek housing soon will be built, I am proud to say I'm a tiger. Visit the campus and give it a chance before turning it down. Great bang for you buck!!

Question
Overall, I like our school a lot.Quite BrightPsychology
Overall, I like our school a lot. The staff has been very helpful and appears to want to help each student grow in every way. The social atmosphere is also very diverse which what I love. We have every kind of person here. On the contrary, people can remain to stick to their own group. However, you have to kind of put yourself out there and find your niche. The academics are pretty good There is a wide array of classes offered. Prof. could be a little better but hey, you'll find that everywhere. So far, I've have found Towson to be a great new experience in which I think everyone should experience. Some people are overly critical of the school, but I believe is the perfect medium between being a huge university where you feel like just a number and a small college where everyone knows everyone.
