Kalamazoo College was undoubtedly the best place I could have gone to college. There is no other institution that where I could have graduated with a degree in Math/Economics, studied French language and litterature, and lived six months in St. Petersburg, Russia, all in four years.The value of the education I received is without measure, but surpassing it is the quality of the friendships that I made in my four years at Kalamazoo. While it's true that any one who goes to college is, without a doubt, going to make life-long friends, K College provides a unique place for people with astonishingly diverse and eccletic backgrounds, goals and lives to meet.

Sure, the classes were tough and the first-year retention rate seems rather low. But I think K-College did (and still does) a great job of weeding out the weak. I spent 4 years surrounded by quality students and faculty who did not hesitate to throw a few challenging curve balls. Upon graduation, I found I was more than ready to meet the challenges of life "outside the bubble". Looking back, I wouldn't have changed a thing about my college choice.
