Don't go to K College and expect toHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
Don't go to K College and expect to remain the same. The diverse liberal arts program, interweaved with foreign study and other off-campus opportunities, is crafted to challenge, stretch, and ultimately improve even the most resistant student(that would have been me). I left K College well prepared to confront and enjoy the wonderful succession of surprises that has followed...

Professors are all knowledgable, fun, and interactive. We are definetly an intellectual school and not the place for people who are not used to or not willing to work hard and study long hours. That said, our programs are (for the most part) excellent. I am still "young" in the college experience when compared to others, but everyone raves about our Study Abroad programs, availability of internships, and respectablility from graduate schools. Further, I did not see better dorm life at any colleges or universities that I visited when looking at colleges or when visiting friends--everyone who visits me admires our spacious, quiet dorm life. Yes, we are "pricey," however, you get what you pay for. All classes are taught by profs, and above that, profs that are easy to understand; further classes are small--most are about the same class size as I was used to in high school--very few lectures/large classes, which means profs can focus on the individual.

Question
My experience at K-College so far has beenQuite BrightBiology
My experience at K-College so far has been wonderful. The faculty have been extremely helpful and I feel that they truly want to see me succeed. The people here are very friendly. My first year here I was actually shocked at how nice the people were. Coming from my snotty high school, I thought it was some sort of alternate universe. The classes are very challenging--no "blow offs" here. And I am surrounded by other students who care about their education, but I never feel as if my classmates and I are competing. Everyone is very helpful. In terms of social life, I was lucky to be a part of the volleyball team. It has made things here tons of fun, but I wouldn't classify this place as a "party school." Sure, you have your parties on the weekends but not every night (not unless you want to fail out fast). My best experience here thus far has been the opportunity to study abroad in France. I had an amazing time and learned so much more than I could have learned in a traditional classroom. Wonderful memories. So yeah, I love this place (the campus is gorgeous!) and the people are great. I have not second-guessed my decision to come to K-College even for a moment.
