Positive Negative Neutral Advice
MSU has a highly ambitions undergraduate and graduateQuite BrightEngineering Department
MSU has a highly ambitions undergraduate and graduate student population. Friendly, trendy, and smart describe the school as a whole. The large campus can be a downfall for those coming from a smaller area; however, individual attention in the many colleges does help. The faculty is very motivated to edify the students. There is a good mix of in-state and out-of-state students, making for an fascinating population.

The educational quality itself is very effective. Most professors provide relevant work that applies to the real world. Essentially, this university provides world-renounced education & professors. The classes become highly competitive in higher-level classes, especially the College of Science, College of Nursing, College of Business and College of Engineering.

The University Activities board puts on great programs for the students almost every night of the week. They also provide 3-4 different movies shown each night on the weekends. The dorms are a fun and safe atmosphere where you can easily find a floor to your liking; they offer same-sex & co-ed floors, quiet floors and non-smoking floors.

The campus is maintained well, there is always an improvement going on however, which can lead to some traffic headaches. There are many upper-scale shopping districts in the area as well. The CATA bus system is also an excellent tool both on and off campus, and can usually get these without a car to where they need to go.

Athletics, of course, are also popular on this Big Ten campus – MSU is probably the most spirited campus in the country.Overall, I highly suggest this campus! Feel free to contact me if anyone has any question!

I'm in the Studio Art program at StateBrightArt & Design Department
I'm in the Studio Art program at State and it is WONDERFUL! The faculty here are so great, giving criticisms and helping you in any way possible. The students are all so nice and friendly and even if you don't know ANYONE here when you start school by the end of your freshman year you'll have a whole new group. The school is large and kind of scary at first but once you get used to it, it's no big deal. It's also very beautiful. I would say definetly come here! It's a great college life! GO GREEN!! :-)
