Question
MSU is a pretty average school, nothing reallyNot so brightLinguistics
MSU is a pretty average school, nothing really wowed me. Because this school didn't meet up to my expectations; I'm transfering to a school in California. It was way to damn easy to get into this school. This curriculum is basic, I don't feel very challenged here. The instructors vary; but most make me want to fall asleep in class and don't ever excite me. I feel that there is a biased conservative-view with most instructors and faculty. As intelligent as the instructors are, I don't feel they make good teachers. As friendly as the students are here; many are closed-minded. The school isn't very aesthetically pleasing. The buildings are constructed in a very bland and uninteresting style. The outside of the library reminds me of an airport terminal. While the Ozark area is very beautiful in the Spring, the college itself is very mundane and ordinary. The residence halls are badly kept; there's cigarette burns on the carpets, water damaged ceilings, leaky sinks, uncomfortable bed, and bad smells. For some reason they randomly turned off the heat in Woods Hall bathroom, and the water is usually cold in the morning.

The Sodexo food used in the dining halls is of poor quality. There is not much taste, and sometimes badly prepared. There is not much selection in food, even though they claim it's "quality food with diverse menus", they have the same things every week. Bad tasting and undercooked. The dining halls at times smell badly with uncleaned food on floors and tables. The beauty of the MidWest is that you can get away with a lot of things, because there are no heavy restrictions. But because of that, I feel that some students do not take there course work seriously and many slack off and don't show up to class. There is no attendence requirement except to get extra points. There's no competition. I feel you are not very well trained in your particular major (with the exception of some). Most students who graduate don't go beyond Missouri. I feel that is limiting, and that is why I can't stay here. I don't feel like there is an advancement here.

Question
If you're just looking for a college experienceQuite BrightEnglish
If you're just looking for a college experience and not necessarily looking to be educated this is the place for you. There are plenty of good teachers, but you have to sek them out. A lot of the teachers have an incredibly bloated opinion of themselves and have not yet realized that they teach at SMS, not Princeton. The honors program is the only thing that has kept me from transferring to another school. Luckily I'm not paying a cent to go here, so I'm not losing anything to this lovely institution.
