Trying to graduate from this school was aQuite BrightNutrition
Trying to graduate from this school was a nightmare. My professors were crap in this department. And they lie oh they lie about jobs. NCSU is NOT accredited by the dietitic board. You will not get a job. I was rejected by numerous public health departments who said that if I had gone to Meredith/UNC/ecu they would have hired me. Why would I spend more money to go back to retake the same courses? Some TAS also run your classes. If you want a job go through food science. This dumb school rejected my brother into engineering school after making false promises he would get in. He got into another school and is now enjoying his undergradute. I transferred here and stuck it out but never should have graduated. My undergraduate GPA suffered and professors didn't care. I had to retake a bunch of classes at a tech school to attempt to go to master's . Avoid at all cost.

I grew up loving the Wolfpack, so choosingQuite BrightNutrition
I grew up loving the Wolfpack, so choosing to attend NC State was a no brainer for me. I graduated in May of 2009 with a degree in Nutrition Science, and I am now in nursing school and UNC-Charlotte. I feel that my classes at NCSU prepared me extremely well for my nursing school course load, and have absolutely no regrets about getting my Bachelor's degree prior to my nursing degree. I miss this university and the passionate fan base (I still rock my Wolfpack gear around UNCC!), and would highly recommend choosing NC State for your college experience.

Question
I loved going to NC State.Quite BrightAgriculture/Horticulture
I loved going to NC State. I would have been more involved in social organizations minus sororities. I wish I had studied more. I never had to in high school and that was detrimental to me. STUDY!! Even if you think you don't need to!! Go to the help sessions provided!! Ask questions!! Don't be afraid of your professors. Do not give in to peer pressure! Your "friends" will try to deter you from getting your job done ( good grades!) Be careful! Don't just trust people because they go to the same school as you. Make at least one or two really good friends. Be yourself!!! Have fun!!
