North Carolina State University - Raleigh

I hate the English program here, they do not have enough creative writing classes or enough variety in their electives for an English major. I transferred to State this past August and I hate it here! I do not feel safe whatsoever from all the emails from the school I get from what goes on at the dorms and downtown Raleigh isn't exactly the safest area depending where you are. I can't go to any extracurricular stuff because it's always after I get off work and it's at night and I refuse to go to that area at night. Some of the staff was really nice but for the whole, one of my teachers is a total jerk and most of the people I had to talk to about stuff at the university were rude and had no idea what I was talking about. Most of the students here are also rude and I hardly hang out with anyone because no one is willing to help me with my social anxiety and stress. I am now looking to apply to transfer to another school for their online degree just to get away from the school.

I wouldn't recommend sending my children or attending NCSU. My child was assaulted in their family university housing. Right now I am having a hard time to get that college to release my transcripts after the PhD candidate assaulted my 7 year old. Nasty group there I tell you.

I cant begin to tell you how much this school sucks! The academics are the easiest thing on earth and the social life is horrible. The city of Raleigh is the most boring place in the universe. The one bright spot of the school is getting drunk at the athletic events, the pack never wins buts its fun to dream!! The campus is alright, there are some decent parts but the majority of the campus is extremely ugly... Try wake forest or UNC
