The dorms were really small, not to mentionQuite BrightChemistry
The dorms were really small, not to mention old. Classes are huge, so only come here if you like being treated like a number. People who work there are helpful before you get there but once you're there it's impossible to get help. Professors aren't helpful at all; they ignore emails most of the time. People are rude; especially those who try to ride their bikes through tunnels. NC State is nothing but bricks, so don't come if you actually enjoy seeing anything other than bricks. NC State was the worst decision I could have made; don't make the same mistake. I'm transferring and getting out of here.

Question
I hate this place!!! I fell in loveBrightBiology
I hate this place!!! I fell in love with State, I spent a day at State they seemed to have a great program in Environmental Science. I started early in the summer of 07, and it was horrible I began to learn very quickly why so many people hate this place. 1st off the housing, I stayed in Bragaw located on West Campus, the building looked nice from the housing website, but once I got their it looked like shit!!! The room had 2 different types of brick walls, the ceiling was falling apart and 3 different types of tiling, and the place was pretty nasty! For the price it was not wroth it.. Dining sucked also, they had their own time, most of the food you couldn't even say the name, it was either over cooked or under cooked, and the staff was mean ass hell, ghetto, PMS, or going through menopause. Academics, ooo boy talk about waste in money!!! my chem teacher confused me, she had the highest rate of failing students, my math teacher was MIA the class was on DVD, and she was always at the beach!!! BIO most of the students are failing because the teacher came to state to do research and didn't want to teach the class in the first place. The campus is just plain ugly, too many bricks, I feel like I am up north some ware with all of the construction, u will get sick of things breaking down, my new dorm has 9 floors and the evaluator is always broke, the AC broke 2 days before exams, and the most fun of all fire alarms!!! All the dorms on campus have problems with fire alarms, in Carroll hall we had 5 alarms within 24 hours one at 4:30am and another at 10:00am in freezing rain. State has about 15 different types of engineering majors and they cant fix this problem ?? The staff @ state I must say I love the people in Harris Hall NOTT,,, Everyone I know has problems with these people, each on can tell you a million things just to get you out of their face. The cost of everything is not wroth it... college is suppose to be the best years of your life but not here welcome to the gates of hell!! look at other schools like UNC (that is were i am transferring go heels!!, Duke, Wake Forest, Elon

Question
If you cant wait to get out ofQuite Bright
If you cant wait to get out of high school to be even more miserable than you were while you were in, stop searching because you have found your university. If you are a high school boy ready to find the awesome college girls coupled with the wild college sexual experiences, look elsewhere because you are basically looking at an all boys school. The girls who do go to this college on generally a 5 out of 10, and because they are surrounded by thousands desperate guys they believe they are nothing short of a 10 out of 10. Everyone on campus is a direct descendent of John Deere himself. If you like and support George Bush simply because mom and dad told you to with out any other justification, you will have lots of friends. The groups of friends you find here are the kind that last for at most a semester at a time (sometimes weeks). Expect nothing more or less, no one really gives a shit about any one else here. The only diversity on campus is in the classes taught by T.A.'s, where you must be logged on to "freetranslation.com" to understand anything going on in class. I have litterally spent full class periods with my peers teaching "teachers" how to speak English. I came into NCSU as a FYC (first year college) student, basically someone with no idea what they wanted to major in. My advisor "hawkins-morton" may have been the most uneducated individual I have ever met. She was incapable of spelling and pronouncing basic words a 4th grader could grasp. In her defense she was very creative with the English language, and often created her own words by combining two words she had not quite grasped yet. She had no idea what she was ever doing, and I would rather go to the nearby primate center for academic advising then visit her office ever again. This is the biggest joke of an institution you could ever imagine. Save your tuition money, and get a library card. You will pay your tuition to NCSU to be told what books to then go buy at the book store, and then learn the material on your own from there. I can not express how much I regret wasting any of my life at this institution, and wish I was in a position to shut it down for the advancement of the human race.
