Quite BrightComputer Science
UNCA is lacking academically. Why did I even consider going here? I guess it is because my farts smell like hippies.

Question
If you are wantingComputer Science
If you are wanting to pursue a degree in Computer Science, stay away from UNCA. The professors are good at presenting the curriculum that UNCA offers, but the problem is the curriculum. It is so old! Times and technology change rapidly and UNCA is still in the stone age.

Honestly, I don't have much expierence with collegesBright
Honestly, I don't have much expierence with colleges since this is the only one I've ever stepped foot on. But I never got a "warm" or "good" feeling about the university unlike my friends who all bubbled with happiness at their perspectative universities.

No one can give you a straight answer about scholarship opportunities. I lived in the dorms and had an awful suitemate (besides rampant sex in the shower, she and her boyfriend broke into my room) and I reported her several times to my RA. Later after reporting this time with photographic evidence of how my suitemate trashed the bathroom, I was told it was "my fault" that I couldn't control her. I'm just glad that she wasn't my roommate or I would have had to move out or something. The residental staff are completely uncooperative and unsupportative.

As for the food, there are 6 choices (7 if you count cereal, but when you inquire about the indegredents in the food, the workers never had any idea if that was chicken or pork. Great desserts though. A+ there. In the school paper this past year, there was many, many complaints about the quality of the food and problems with the "eat all you want, as many times as you want" plan such as getting lectured at if you tried to get more than 2 slices of pizza. Personally, I wouldn't recommend anyone to come to this school. You'd be better off somewhere else. Also, UNCA is known for being "liberal and hippie" but watch out, the Republicans threw a humongous fit during the 2004 election and whined constantly while the Democrats barely peeped.
