Ithaca College is a very friendly university becauseQuite BrightCommunications
Ithaca College is a very friendly university because there isn't any Greek life and the school is a great size. There are so many different types of people who attend Ithaca that it is super simple to find people who enjoy the same things as you as well as giving you a chance to meet a more eclectic group of friends.

I studied abroad three times during my four years at Ithaca's satellite campuses in London, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC. There are many opportunities offered to you so please take advantage of all of them.

Teachers are very approachable and it is to your benefit to get to know your professors which isn't hard because classes are 30 people or less.

The campus is beautiful, the students are awesome, and the education is great!

The school is really pretty, but the fountainsBrightBiology
The school is really pretty, but the fountains are on 20% of the time. its always cold except the first couple weeks you get there and the last couple of weeks. bring rain boots. the fitness center is ALWAYS packed, so are the dining halls and the library. Terrace 13 is real far away. The boys are jerks and the girls are slutty. there's definately always a party if you know the right people.

Question
Only consider going here if you are majoringQuite BrightTelecommunications
Only consider going here if you are majoring in music, theater arts, or film/tv, and couldn't get in or afford a first tier school in those disciplines. Otherwise, it's to be considered if you're from the area and want to stay close. If you have any other decent prospects, avoid. Oh, or you're really into drugs. Drugs and drinking are the only social scene here. And that's not a freshman snap judgment, it's three years with different friends. Drinking is the only way to have fun.
